    THE HARMONIZERS:

Jacqui, Dani and Jess, a.k.a.The Harmonizers, have been singing for most of their lives. However it was not until moving to Wonthaggi and joining the Wonthaggi Sing for Fun group (meets second and last Wednesday of every month at Mitchell House) that they discovered their love for harmonies. This fascination led to a new form of entertainment in the Paulson household – accapella singing. From this…The Harmonizers were born! The Harmonizers have performed throughout South Gippsland at numerous festivals, fundraisers, and concerts, incorporating a variety of music styles and genres. Accapella singing, jazzing things up with ukuleles and percussion instruments are all part of the repertoire . Singing is about having fun, but the Harmonizers greatest joy comes from having touched peoples hearts through song.

     BASS COAST PICKERS:

The Bass Coast Pickers –  a mix of driving Bluegrass and slow ballads. The band plays at a number of venues in Bass Coast and often hosts concerts for visiting bands. The band members are the mainstay of the Bass Coast Acoustic Music Club and run a regular monthly jam in Wonthaggi. The band members are Alison – Guitar, Mary – Banjo, Michael – Guitar and Rod on Double Bass and Mandolin. The 4 piece string band comprises guitar, banjo, mandolin and double bass.

     THE WEARY FIRE:

Consists of Colin Matthews, a local guitarist and songwriter who has just recently released his third CD; and E.J. Van Geest a banjo, mandolin and guitar player who has been playing music for most of his life. Both Colin and E.J. have been in various bands including Burning Embers. Their style of music is a mix of Americana tunes that will get your toes tapping.

     WONTHAGGI CITIZEN'S BAND:

Wonthaggi Citizens’ Band are the Australian National Brass Band C Grade CHAMPIONS. The Wonthaggi Citizen’s Band provide for ANZAC Day and Carols by Candlelight events across the region and feature in many other community celebrations or events such as the Inverloch Jazz Festival, and the Wonthaggi HPV Grand Prix. Led by Musical Director, Craig Marinus, the band have been a feature in Wonthaggi for over 100 years and have been instrumental in many young people learning to play brass instruments.

     LYNDALL WALES:

Lyndall is a local musician and singer. She has performed at various venues around the South Gippsland region.

     THE RIPPLES:

The Bass Coast Ripples is a community band with members from the Bass Coast area. As well as singers, the bank comprises of ukulele players, guitarists, and a pianist - with the occasional bongo or kazoo thrown in. They mainly play at nursing homes and senior citizen's clubs and love to play songs from the 50's to the 80's, although they have been known to play songs from the 20's and even something more modern. They love playing songs that make them happy and hopefully their audience too.

     REV BLUES:

Greg Jones can often be seen around town with his mate, Charlie Cool and occasionally with John Percussion. Greg is a blues guitarist, harmonica player and singer who has been performing for over 40 years. He has travelled Australia, making music wherever he goes. If you like blues or jazz music, then you will not be disappointed.
